Described by her friends as a compulsive renovator, Anthea Baker-Shreeve can’t sit in a room without redecorating it – a skill she has been practising since she first owned a doll’s house. “Even at that age I knew how a house could be changed to look and feel better,” she says. 

As an adult, Anthea studied Interior Design to reinforce and extend her natural flair. Years of successful property investment and renovation projects followed, during which Anthea acquired a vast knowledge of the property and design industries. That experience, combined with her extensive practice in applying the principles of design to interiors, has positioned her perfectly to offer an impressive – and rare – skill set in the area of home improvement.

Anthea thinks creatively, often outside the square, to come up with effective solutions to a broad range of situations. She understands how important it is to spend wisely – and on which aspects – to create a home that will lift the spirits of homeowners who want to stay put, or boost the marketability of a home that needs to be sold. Her work attracts widespread media attention and she is now rightly recognised as an expert in homestaging.
