Lindsay is the voice and face of homebase.
She can help with anything you can throw at her, she says “I love it when I get thrown a curve ball question and I have to come up with an answer or solution to suit the client”.
Her passion for structure and order means that there is a seamless flow for clients when they deal with homebase.
Lindsay’s love of organisation, combined with a genuine desire to want to help people, initially started her on a path into the hospitality industry where she honed her customer service skills, which she says are now second to none!
She spent time working at the largest hotel at Heathrow Airport in London, as well as at the complete other end of the hotel scale - a boutique country house hotel with a variety of different guests to look after. This variation means that Lindsay relates extremely well to all people regardless of their path in life, where they have come from or where they are going.
After moving to New Zealand the opportunity presented itself for Lindsay to use her skills in a new way and she moved into the office coordination world. She has since spent time working for a real estate marketing company as well as a graphic design studio before joining the homebase team.
Lindsay also has a highly creative streak that lends itself to helping clients with furniture and design choices when they personally come to visit homebase. This creative streak also involves lots of homemade goodies like baking cakes, making greeting cards and natural soap, just to name a few. This creative streak is always appreciated by her colleagues at homebase as this means they are never hungry, they never miss a friends or relations birthday plus they all smell pretty good too!
