Thank you for the time you spent selecting pieces of furniture to enhance the look of my home when putting it up for sale.  Some of the items that you suggested, particularly the desk and chair that turned an awkward space into a little office, really enhanced the home, and the value to potential buyers.  Your suggestions on what items to tidy up, remove from the property, along with buying some colourful flowers for pots were also very cost effective and made for a better presented home.

I believe that a well presented, well priced home with a good agent can still be sold in a depressed market, and this was proved by my home selling in two weeks and with multiple offers.I also appreciated that you left the furniture in the house for a few extra days at no charge until I could get my furniture back from storage.

My husband and I  recently purchased a  special home that we had had our eye on for years which had  unexpectedly come up for sale,  and  as a result suddenly put our own residence on the market.  There was extreme time pressure to get the photos for the marketing  programme taken within a couple of days and the first open home was to be only a  week later.

Anthea and Simon were incredibly helpful and patient with me, helping me choose a number of items ranging from bedside tables and lamps, bed and linen,  to artworks and lovely vases and decorative urns. Simon arranged an instant delivery even though it was fast becoming 'after hours' , and  his team helped place the  items to give the best look, also providing me with useful tips on arranging and colour matching. Listing of items used was checked with me, and invoicing prompt and accurate.

As the open homes progressed, feedback was given that potential purchasers felt the home to be very well presented, and the real estate agent who had given us the initial recommendation to use 'homebase limited' commented that it was a  'real pleasure to open a home so well presented to the public'.

Despite our concerns that the house might not sell quickly in the current economic environment ( mid winter 2008) and so seeing many other homes languishing on the market for over 3 months or more, we were very pleased to have a successful sale within a month. We have no doubt whatsoever that the improved presentation of the property was a key factor in this success, and we attribute that to the help of the homebase team and the pick'n'mix products.

In April and May 2008, Stevenson Masonry Division undertook a substantial body of photographic activity to complete its series of new point of sale material.  The photography entailed the staging of interior and exterior residential environments, utilising Stevenson paving products, concrete, retaining blocks and wall systems.

Over 9 days, we utilised Homebase to provide furniture and household accessories for photographic home staging.  We found Homebase, with particular reference to Anthea and Peter, a pleasure to work with. The majority of the locations entailed exterior photography which was weather dependent and difficult, due to the changeable, seasonal, autumn weather.

Homebase was able to accommodate us with deliveries at a moment's notice, often delivering to site within 1-2 hours of a telephone call. Their central location in Kingsland meant that it was simple and convenient to "drop in" and select items for locations. Frequently, we called upon them to provide additional props at short notice, with little more than a photo or verbal description for a brief.

We found that their breadth of furniture and accessories has allowed us to create the style and ambiance desired across a number of locations, where previously it could have taken days to source and style to create a specific look. The Homebase team are also astute in meeting the demands of a style brief, and I found them incredibly flexible, knowledgeable, and customer centric. Their service extended from furniture selection to delivery, cleaning and styling on location - all of which were conducted with professionalism and enthusiasm. The convenience and ease of the experience from accessory and furniture selection, to short lead time delivery meant that we relied on them more and more throughout this photography project. This enabled us to invest valuable time and resources in photography versus pre-shoot preparation.

I have no hesitation in recommending Anthea and her team at Homebase for styling and staging.
